Marwan Chamaa’s artistic journey began in the mid-eighties and continues to evolve today. Throughout his career, Marwan’s muse has always been his environment. Having lived in diverse settings like Munich, New York, Beirut, and currently the U.S.A., he captures and interprets his world for his audience with a unique perspective. Marwan’s exposure to various cultures has shaped him into the eclectic and versatile artist he is today. While embracing the spirit of a global citizen, he remains deeply connected to his Middle Eastern roots. Marwan’s passion for art started at a very young age, with art being his favorite subject throughout elementary and college. Initially self-taught, he expanded his artistic techniques and knowledge by studying graphic design and fine arts at the American University of Beirut, Beirut University College, and the Corcoran School of Art. Marwan’s work reinvents his surroundings in various styles, yet always stays true to capturing the essence of his environment. His journey is a testament to his ability to adapt and thrive, blending his experiences into a vibrant and ever-evolving artistic expression. Marwan’s interest in art started at a very young age, during elementary and throughout college, art studies were his favorite subject. Initially a self-taught art-curious individual, Marwan decided to enlarge his scope of art-technique and knowledge by studying graphic design/ fine arts at the American University of Beirut, Beirut University College, and the Corcoran School of Art.
