The red mouth, the marked teeth, and the hands erected upwards sporting a luxury watch are the signature of his paintings. They demonstrated social contradictions, protest movements, and fear in today’s societies.

Ray X is part of the current Neo-expressionism headed by Basquiat and Keith Haring. Painting to me is an act of life. I paint for the love of painting and painters. I paint out of the desire for shapes and colors. Each one of my paintings is a rebirth, a moment of passion. My art comes from a story or an idea - a moment in history, a character, or a feeling.
