Lina Husseini

Lina Maalouf Husseini, a Lebanese-French self-taught artist, masterfully blends influences from the East and West in her work. With a degree in Public Administration from the American University of Beirut, her artistic journey took her in a different direction, reflecting her experiences living in Lebanon and France. This fusion of cultures creates a transcendence in her art, bridging diverse sensibilities. Lina’s experimentation with materials, colors, and compositions reimagines ordinary elements in unfamiliar contexts, challenging conventional perceptions of everyday objects. Her art exudes positivity and a sense of freedom from societal norms. A pioneering innovator, Lina uses PVC as her primary medium. In collaboration with her husband Roland Husseini, an engineer and PVC specialist, they combine creativity and technical expertise to produce unique artworks. Working at high temperatures, their meticulous handcrafted pieces retain an element of spontaneity. Lina has exhibited in cities like Beirut, Venice, London, Dubai, New York, Miami, Abidjan, Marseille, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. She has also participated in auctions for humanitarian causes. Her PVC sculpture “Together” is part of the permanent collection at the Peoria Riverfront Museum in Illinois, showcasing her ability to blend technical skill with artistic innovation.
